Meet Abosede Odunsi, owner of Infinity Strategic Group and Featured Business Owner at SCORE Chicago this week. Learn how she started and what tips she has for your success.
What is your company’s elevator pitch?
Infinity Strategic Group is a law firm that is dedicated to ensuring that the money you work so hard to earn works just as hard for you, both now and in the future, protecting your loved ones and leaving a lasting legacy. So often as you plan for the future you face what seems like an infinite number of financial possibilities. We, at Infinity Strategic Group, will help you wade through the legal maze.
What inspired you to start your business?
I saw there was a need for reasonably priced, competent legal services for everyday people who want to plan for the future and protect their loved ones.
Who are your clients, and give an example of how you served that person or business?
I am honored to have a diverse client base, including women, baby boomers and many hard-working people looking to plan for the future.
Today I met with a married couple in their forties who wanted to establish an estate plan that includes guardianship provisions for their minor children. I also helped a client whose wife recently passed away transfer assets titled in his wife’s name.
What is your biggest business challenge?
My biggest business challenge is marketing outreach to my client base.
Mentor name, and how they have helped you in your business?
My SCORE mentors are Peg Corwin and Mitch Morris. Peg Corwin has helped me with all phases of business development, including drafting and executing my business plan, designing my website, preparing and executing my marketing plan. Mitch Morris helped me prepare for the elevator pitch contest and coached me for the video filming.
What advice would you give other entrepreneurs?
Do not let a “no” stop you. Find different and creative ways to reach your end goal.
What is your website for further info?
